It doesn't make that much difference for something like Flour, but those time discounts add up for higher level goods. The increased production actually completes faster per unit! For instance, producing one unit of Flour takes 20 seconds, but producing 2 takes 35, and 3 takes 50. In addition to producing more with a single action and keeping your buildings producing more while you're away, upgrading buildings has another benefit. Do note that it still costs the same number of input goods - you'll need 4 Wheat to produce 2 Flour. For instance, if you upgrade the Windmill, you can produce a double batch of Flour at once. Goods production buildings can be upgraded to produce more of a given recipe at once. Farmville 2 Country Escape Guide: Farm Hands and Foraging Whatever you do, don't neglect the Farmer's Almanac, as it's one of the primary sources of free keys in Farmville 2: Country Escape. That way, you'll get the maximum possible rewards with the least amount of effort. Try to focus on completing the quests in order, rather than just creating and selling new stuff as fast as possible. Pro Tip If you start a quest after you've already created and sold a particular good, you'll have to do it again to get credit for the quest. The reward for quests is usually experience and sometimes keys. Generally, quests require you to have, make, or sell certain goods. The Farmer's Almanac contains a list of the current quests you can undertake. What I do is let them grow completely until they're ready to be harvested, but then I wait to harvest them until I actually need them. Making these goods requires that you have the correct building, the recipe, and it also requires some time.
