Because it seems like a maddening problem, i know i spent 6hrs with support trying to get a straight answer (Which they used a bogus excuse dating back to 2013 when i put in a ticket on the ps3 platform) for online not being supported and saving being a dev issue (which they deflected, now to this day they blame everything else or say its out of support). If you need remote support i'd be willing to do a remote session to help fix it. If so uninstall it and go to and install it, then disable the online save. Sounds to me like your using the origin lite installed through steam (right?). Then afterwards i used cheat engine and syslabs proc explorer to watch the process on one monitor, then on the other i played and verified the save file would work. I know what i had to do was white list the app in my firewall on win10, then remove and readd it under win10's advanced firewall filter to resolve the nat restriction issue.Īs for the saving what i did specifically was wipe out my save profile, and then disable its manual sync in the origin application (i installed the full client not the lite client which causes issues in my personal experience). 2) Opened recommended ports in my router. Sofar I have: (done for both game and Origin) 1) Toggled it on / off with restarts. Its a old work around for when the game doesn't wanna save, but i'd also check event viewer under apps, and the firewall and make sure deadspace3.exe isn't acting up process wise. 1 August 2013 Options Boxer11 Novice I have turned Origin in Game on, Shift F1 won't open it, going to the suit kiosk or bench tells me it needs to be turned on. Yeah delete the Folder Dead Space 3, and Remake it yourself in the EA Games folder in documents. Im almost considering looking for pirated CD keys to just get the game that I payed for to work again.Oh dude. And no, you can't right click Dead Space 3 and view the CD key's that way because I already tried and they don't have that for dead space 3 for some reason.ĭoes anyone know how I can find my dead space 3 CD key, or know of a way to view the 'KEY' that you see in the DLC tab? I may sound a bit crass, and thats because I wasted about 3 hours searching for potential solutions that don't even work or are outdated, and with both ea and steam support being completely unhelpful. And I know about the 'KEY' in the DLC tab, but its useless because you can't view the key itself, and steam support in that regard is absolutely unhelpful. I already contacted EA support and they somewhat helped me on the issue as in they removed the game from my library so that I can re-activate it I guess.īut the problem with that is that I can't seem to find the darn cd key for dead space 3. Change your Dead Space 3 video settings to stop the Origin In Game conflict. Click 'Origin' at the top of the window and click on 'Application Settings' in that pulldown menu. ![]() When it launched Origin, nothing would happen, and when I looked at my game library on origin, the bloody thing was telling me I need to buy the game. Scroll down to the bottom of this window and click 'Update to the beta version when available'. I just now re-installed it and now the bloody game won't launch. I bought this game two years ago and was playing it just fine until recently I had to uninstall the game to make room on my drive.
